To celebrate the wonderful summer Helsinki witnessed this year, the Cru decided to go on a cycling/bar hopping trip last Thursday.

Starting from Kallio, the Cru first rode West for a warm up drink in Ruoholahti. Some Supercellians even showed up to say hi :)

The biking Cru then continued to Lauttasaari, Lehtisaari and Kuusisaari enjoying beautiful sunny views over the sea. After a quick photoshoot of our irresistible Cru it was time for a well-deserved second pit stop in Café Torpanranta. In total the Cru cycled 20kms+ around Helsinki in 3 hours. It was good exercise but most of all a fun and enjoyable afternoon all together to celebrate the end of the summer.

After the (sweaty) bike trip, the Cru headed back to its home turf and started the “End of Summer” celebration party on the rooftop with barbecue and, of course, … sauna! Luckily we always have friendly Cru members who can take care of the grilling. And this time Mikko was the one cooking awesome sausages and burgers for the whole Cru. We chatted, ate, played games and celebrated with the beautiful sunset from our rooftop.

Even though the autumn/winter season is approaching, there is no need to feel sad because we have had an awesome summer this year with great achievements. Let’s hope for an even better summer next year :)

Until then the sporting Cru will remain active with boxing every Wednesday! More news about that next time ;)
